Doug Llewelyn was born Douglas Steele Llewelyn Jr. on November 26, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. When it was reborn in 1996, Llewelyn was gone, replaced by two men: Curt Chaplin, the announcer who also interviews litigants briefly (and condescendingly) in the hallway, and the shows legal adviser, Harvey Levin, who went on to become responsible for the scourgeon our culture known as TMZ, who interviews people on the street about the case during breaks.
